Below is a précis of the British Standards that we work to and what they relate to. Also, a description of the accreditation/certification schemes we work within.

European Security Services London Limited are also part of the Approved Contractors Scheme (ACS). The Private Security Industry Act (2001) was introduced to regulate and improve the security industry. The ACS is voluntary and works on a scoring basis, with 0 as the entry level. All companies have to pass 89 requirements to achieve 0 and then work towards improving this.
European Security Services London Limited achieved a higher than average score in September 2015, which in the terms of ACS performance means we are within the top 25% of the industry.

ISO 9001 helps you to effectively manage your business and meet your customers’ requirements and is known worldwide as the standard for ‘Quality Management Systems’. Systems need to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide product/service that meet customers and applicable regulatory requirements, and aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system.
This includes processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity and applicable regulatory requirements.

BS 7960:2016 gives recommendations for the organization, staffing, operation and management of companies providing door supervision services to licensed premises or events, and to other individuals, companies, organizations and designated premises supervisors who provide or employ door supervisors.

This includes data security, sensitive and service contracts and confidential records. You can also apply BS 7858 in situations where security screening is in the public’s interest.
BS 7858 sets out the necessary requirements to conduct a successful security screening process. This standard covers ancillary staff, acquisitions and transfers, and the security conditions of contractors and subcontractors. It also looks at information relating to the Rehabilitation of Offenders and Data Protection Acts.
